Gillies McIndoe: Phase II Glioblastoma Clinical Trial New Zealand 2024
19 June 2024: Dr Swee Tan, a lead researcher at Gillies McIndoe Research Institute, is now recruiting participants for a Phase II clinical trial focussed on glioblastoma treatment. Following the successful Phase I trial, which demonstrated the safety and tolerability of a novel combination of repurposed drugs, the Phase II trial aims to evaluate the effectiveness of this treatment in a larger group of 75 patients.

9 April 2024: This symposium was an output of the Emerging Aquatic Diseases research Programme - a five-year collaborative research programme enabled by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment through the Endeavour Fund and led by Cawthron Institute. It addresses emerging aquatic diseases in wildlife, fisheries and aquaculture and will tackle long standing challenges associated with unresolved disease investigations.
