IRRICAD launches training workshops in China

December 2015

Lincoln Agritech’s Sophie Rebbeck (Business Development Manager) and Jo Vivier (Training and Support) have recently returned from Beijing and Shanghai where they taught two three-day IRRICAD training workshops.

IRRICAD, a global leader in irrigation design software established by Lincoln Agritech in 1988, now has more than 1500 users and software packages sold in over 75 countries. Twenty-seven years on and several versions later, the program is now available in eight languages - the latest edition being in Chinese.

The workshops were very successful with more than 20 participants attending from seven different entities, including companies and universities. Susan Cao (Business Development Manager) from New Zealand Trade and Enterprise assisted the IRRICAD team by sharing her regional knowledge and helping Lincoln Agritech staff to improve their understanding of the Chinese market as well as providing invaluable translation services during the training workshops.

Lincoln Agritech plans to officially launch the IRRICAD Chinese language version in China in 2016.
